There is currently a boom in do-it-yourself electronic art, also called bricolage. Famous artists from Germany and Switzerland show how easy it is to get started: ‘bitnik’ from Zurich, famous for their bugging action in the Zurich opera house, build a simple pirate radio; the Kassel designer Olaf Vla presents a construction kit for a DIY variation on the game boy; Niklas Roy alias ‘Cyberniklas’ from Berlin gets music, and much more, from a crazy squeaky organ.
